From January 22nd to 25th, 7 students from Shengyang Pharmaceutical University visited University of Yamanashi. This was the second visit after Pharmaceutical University and University of Yamanashi concluded the agreement in 2015.<\/p>\n
On the first day, students had an orientation by Prof. Xiaoyang Mao, the Director of the Center for International Education & Exchange followed by a campus tour and Kofu City tour. In the afternoon, a welcome party was held and visiting students enjoyed the conversation with the students of Uiniversity of Yamanashi and their presentation introducing Japanese Culture, Setsubun.\u00a0<\/p>\n
From the 2nd day, with enormous cooperation of the Institute of Enology and Viticulture and Faculty of Life Science and Environment, students were given orientations, short lectures and facility\/lab tour.<\/p>\n
A workshop on the so called \u201cFood Loss\u201d problem was held on the 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0day. All the students were divided into 4 internationally mixed teams. They shared information about food loss problems in Japan and China, and went on to find solutions considering culture and customs of each countries and made excellent presentations at the end.<\/p>\n During the visit, they also enjoyed several Japanese culture experience activities such as Kimono-wearing and Tea ceremony in the university, and glass bead making.<\/p>\n Four days visit was concluded with excursion around Mt. Fuji and Kawaguchiko-lake.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
